ProofMail
Terms of use
Last updated 16 October 2026
The agreement
These terms are between you (the organisation using ProofMail) and Stray Anchor Pty Ltd (ABN 22 700 917 111), Perth, Western Australia. By installing or using ProofMail you agree to them. If you install it for an organisation, you confirm you can agree for that organisation.
What ProofMail does
ProofMail sends your Jira Service Management customers emails about their requests, using your templates and ticket details, and records whether each email was delivered.
Your part
- Only email people about their own service requests. ProofMail isn't for marketing or bulk email.
- Only send from domains you own or are allowed to use.
- Follow the email and privacy laws that apply to you, such as Australia's Spam Act, CAN-SPAM in the US and the GDPR in Europe.
- You decide what your templates say and which ticket details go into them.
What "Delivered" means
Delivered means the customer's email provider accepted the email. We can't promise it reached their inbox rather than a spam folder, or that they read it.
Keeping email working for everyone
If a site's emails bounce or are marked as spam unusually often, we may slow or pause its sending to protect delivery for all customers. We'll tell you why and help you fix it.
Plans and billing
Plans and prices are shown on the Atlassian Marketplace. Atlassian bills you for ProofMail with your other apps. You can change or cancel your subscription in your Atlassian administration settings, or by uninstalling ProofMail.
Your data
Your tickets and data stay yours. You give us permission to process them only to run ProofMail for you, as described in our privacy policy.
Fair use
Don't use ProofMail to break the law, to send email people haven't asked for, or to interfere with the service. We may suspend sending for a site that does.
Availability and changes
We work to keep ProofMail running and your data safe, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free. We may improve or change ProofMail. Before a change that takes something away from your plan, we'll tell you in the app or by email.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other laws that can't be excluded. Otherwise, to the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid for ProofMail in the 12 months before the claim.
Ending
You can stop at any time by uninstalling ProofMail. When you do, your data is deleted as described in the privacy policy. We may end these terms if you break them, with notice where we reasonably can.
